Edgerton “Teacher of the Year”

A 30-year teacher of art at Seneca High School is the Oconee County Teacher of the Year.  And Fred Edgerton will be formally recognized during the November 9 meeting of the Oconee School Board of Trustees.  As the district’s teacher of the year, Edgerton will receive $1 thousand along with an all-expense paid trip to a national conference of his choice.  Joey Bryson, a special education teacher at West-Oak Middle School, was named “Teacher of the Year” during a ceremony in May, but is unable to serve because of her husband’s unexpected relocation.
