Edgewater appeal rescheduled

September 11, 2012

DHEC has a new date to consider the appeal of an Oconee County homeowners’ group in the matter of a project to build a Pioneer Rural Water District treatment plant. The appeal, by Edgewater Property Owners Association, is now scheduled to be heard during this week’s meeting of the board of the Department of Health and Environmental Control. The board meets at 10 a-m Thursday in Columbia. And Edgewater’s appeal of multiple permits granted for the project last month is listed on the agenda as a final conference review. The permits are construction permit for intake system, construction permit for treatment plant, and general discharge permit.
