Westminster – Melvin “Ernie” Ernest Whitfield, 44, of 664 South Union Rd., passed away at his residence.  A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Whitfield will be laid to rest at a later date beside his father, Melvin Randall Whitfield at Heritage Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers memorials in his memory may be made c/o Sandifer Funeral Home, PO Box 69, Westminster, SC 29693.
