Exit 1, I-85 can stand improvement

Anyone headed north on I-85 from Georgia into South Carolina can tell there’s something to be desired at Exit 1 beyond the Welcome Center. Motorists first notice the Welcome Center. Beyond it, however, is the interstate exit itself. And Thomas Alexander, the state senator, says the property controlled there by South Carolina can stand some enhancement. Alexander envisions a partnership of state and local governments, perhaps the expertise of Clemson University, also. And he explains today on 96.3/WGOG NEWS.
