“Expert” witness on the stand

October 31, 2013

An engineer from Westminster settled into the witness chair at 3:25 yesterday afternoon in the Oconee Common Pleas Court. And it’s from there that Derek Hodgin’s testimony will likely continue until some time today. As a forensic engineer, Hodgin and his company specialize in investigations of building problems. In this instance, he has been retained by the homeowners’ group at Stoneledge to demonstrate the various water intrusion and other problems that have plagued the Lake Keowee development since its origins about ten years ago.
