A 34-year old Fair Play man has been arrested by the Oconee Sheriff’s Department and charged with burglary second degree and petty larceny. Sheriff’s officers yesterday morning arrested Matthew Flint Patterson, as part of an investigation of an area resident’s complaint that his home was broken into during a two-week period between January 15 and February 1. The resident said he returned to his Mill Creek Road home and discovered several items missing—including a dishwasher valued at $300 dollars and a cabinet valued at $500 dollars.
