Fair Play man charged with trafficking in methamphetamine

steven-luncefordNarcotics agents for Oconee County say that between April and June they were able to buy more than 125 grams of methamphetamine from an address on the West-Oak Highway.  Those buys this week led to the arrest of a 47-year old Fair Play man.  The Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of Steven Lunceford (right) of the Old Knox Bridge Road on the charge of trafficking in methamphetamine.  By yesterday afternoon, Lunceford remained in custody at the Detention Center under a $50,000 surety bond.  The charge is a felony that carries a potential penalty of 25 years in prison and a fine of $50,000.
