Fallen tree shorts out Seneca electric circuit

A tree that fell in Seneca during last night’s storm shorted out an electric power circuit.  Bob Faires, utilities superintendent, said by making contact with a three-phase line was all that was needed to create a power outage that started around 8:15 and lasted for one hour.  Faires said he’s proud of how his crews responded and worked to restore service—in spite of nature’s elements.
