Fatality’s identity to be made known today

January 13, 2014

At the request of the family, Oconee Coroner Karl Addis is waiting until today to publicly identify the man killed in the crash of a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer accident. Yesterday’s accident at 10:15 a-m on highway 76 at the truck entrance to Cryovac Industries proved fatal to the motorcycle operator—identified so far as a 64-year old Westminster man. Highway troopers say the accident occurred as the motorcyclist attempted a turn. The patrol identified the tractor-trailer truck driver as Florida resident Keith Harness.
