Father, daughter both named teacher of the year

Amanda Link Harris was recently named Teacher of the Year at Walhalla High School. Her father, Dale Link, was named Teacher of the Year at Tamassee-Salem High School. Both father and daughter are graduates of Southern Wesleyan University. The daughter never considered a career other than teaching. She was born into a family of educators. While she was a student at Seneca High, her father taught there.
