Father’s Day drug arrests

Father’s Day was merely two and a half hours old before Oconee deputies made drug arrests near Seneca. Deputies went to 410 Holder’s Landing Road to investigate reports of a fight and shots fired in a parking lot. They wound up arresting two people and collecting a handgun from the woods. Authorities say Rashaun Roberson, 24, was charged with possession of crack cocaine. At the scene, a second person—28-year old Charles Clark—was served a bench warrant alleging cocaine possession first offense. Twelve hours later south of Seneca, on the Sitton Shoals Road, deputies say they arrested and charged Carl Edward Surratt, 35, with simple possession of marijuana and distribution of meth second offense and seized a motorcycle reported stolen in Habersham County, Georgia.
