Fire fighter’s condition improves

An Oconee volunteer fire fighter is an intensive care patient at a Greenville hospital with injuries from a late night accident on a snowy road. But David Wagers’ condition is improving, according to a report received by Walter Lee, assistant chief of the Friendship Fire Department. At the time, the car left the Martin Creek Road and hit a tree, Wagers was en route to answer another accident call on behalf of the fire department.
