Fire under investigation

The Oconee fire chief says a fire during the 2 o’clock hour this morning remains under investigation. Chief Charlie King says the first fire fighters to reach Oak Creek Trail in the Oakway Community found a structure consumed in fire. The structure, believed to have been used for storage, collapsed. Responding to the early morning call were fire fighters from Oakway, Fair Play, South Union and Crossroads communities.
