First of two suspects arrested

May 1, 2013

A 46-year old Walhalla woman has been arrested as one of two suspects in a Sunday night home burglary on S. Cedar Street. Lt. Paul Harris says Teresa Diane Durham was arrested yesterday and charged with burglary first degree. According to Harris, the police were led to Durham and a second suspect when they were able to recover stolen household items that were sold. The arrest of a second suspect is pending. The homeowner at 404 S. Cedar Street returned to her home early Monday morning and discovered a broken front glass window. She called the police and discovered that a flat screen TV, a home stereo system, and stereo speaker were missing.
