The date on which the first Sunday sales of alcohol becomes legal in Seneca is just a few weeks ago, in the estimation of city leaders. City Administrator Greg Dietterick told the mayor and council last night that all of the documents and other information must first go to the State Department of Revenue in Columbia. “Another two-three weeks,” Dietterick said. According to Dietterick, about six out of every ten Seneca voters November 6 marked their ballot yes when it came to the question of Sunday sales.
