Five named to board that never meets

After a closed door meeting, Seneca leaders named five people to a regulatory board which rarely, if ever, has met.  City Attorney Michael Smith says the board of the Construction Maintenance and Aesthetics Board of Adjustment is in place to hear appeals involving decisions by the city’s building code department.  Appointed to the board were David Gulley, Brad Lecroy, Glenn English, Dave Rozman, and James Hansen.  Rozman is the husband of city councilwoman Denise Rozman.  To avoid conflict questions, the city attorney directed the city councilwoman to stay out of the executive session and leave the meeting room when the council re-convened to make the appointments.
