For flag vote, Alexander relied on faith

A Presbyterian Church Sunday School teacher, Thomas Alexander opened his Bible for insight as to how he should vote when it came to taking down the Confederate flag from the grounds of the State House.  The state senator from Oconee-Pickens voted with the majority of his colleagues this week in approving a bill, now signed by Governor Haley, that now sends the flag to the state’s room for relics.   A lengthy statement by Alexander about the issue airs today on 96.3/WGOG NEWS.
