For Judge Verdin, a homecoming

Growing up in the home of two educators, the three R’s were always important to someone like Letitia Verdin.  The former Letitia Hamilton grew up in Seneca and became a state judge.  Assigned to the Greenville-Pickens circuit, Verdin will achieve a homecoming of sorts this month when she presides during a term of Oconee Common Pleas Court.  Clerk of Court Beverly Whitfield says it’ll be the first time Verdin will hold the gavel in her native county.  She’s a daughter of Angela and Harry Hamilton of Seneca.
