Four accidents within six minutes
Once the Oconee County driving public took to the roads this morning, there followed a number of accidents. Four of them within six minutes once the clock struck 7 this morning. Among the accidents logged by the state patrol are the following locations: 123 and the Armstrong Road, SC 28/the Highlands Highway and Laurel Hill Drive; 123 and Mauldin Mill Road, and an accident with injuries on 123/the Toccoa Highway at the Georgia line. Slick road surfaces, especially those on bridges, are believed to be the culprit.
