Four city councils meet tonight

The governing bodies in four of Oconee’s municipalities are in action tonight. And, for at least three of them, executive session matters highlight their agendas. Westminster City Council plans a private meeting for a personnel matter, not specified in the pre-meeting agenda. Walhalla City Council plans to go behind closed doors at seven o’clock for a contract matter related to Streetscape. At its meeting tonight, Salem utilities official Ryan Hardin has asked his town council for an executive session for a personnel matter. West Union Town Council meets at 6 o’clock. Among new business matters are discussion and a possible vote on the purchase of property on W. Main Street. The regular March meeting of Seneca City Council has been re-scheduled for Thursday night, to avoid conflicting with today’s election.
