Four implicated in school theft

The police in Walhalla say an 18-year old man and three youngsters of juvenile age have been implicated in the theft last week of a computer from a room at the James Brown Elementary School. Curtis Rogers, assistant chief, said the young man of adult age—Thomas Jay Simmons—has been charged with burglary second degree. Rogers says the computer has been retrieved and referrals to the Family Court have been made against three juveniles for their alleged parts in the crime. According to the police, the theft occurred during a weekend burglary at the school on the Coffee Road.
