Foxwood Hills home fire

Fire late this morning damaged a home in the Foxwood Hills development on Lake Hartwell. The fire was discovered by the homeowner, as he returned to his home on the Dr. John’s Road. He noticed smoke coming from the roof and could hear the sound of the home’s smoke detectors. Fire fighters were able to put a stop to the home fire in 10 minutes, and no one was injured.
