Free school supplies to be delivered

The Educational Talent Search van is coming to a town near you, loaded with school supplies to help the program’s participants get ready for the new school year. The 15-passenger van will make stops across the tri-county area, including Seneca High School, on Saturday, August 25 to deliver school supplies free of charge to the ETS program participants. To receive supplies, Herm Allen requests that participants RSVP to him by Wednesday, August 22 at 5 p.m. by calling 864/646-1596. ETS is a federally-funded program at Tri-County designed to assist students in grades 7-12 with the academic support and cultural exposure to students who need assistance in understanding their educational opportunities and options. ETS staff sent letters to more than 500 students in grades 7-12 in area schools to let them know about the different stops in each county.
