Friday fire and car accident

A Friday afternoon car accident required the arrangement of a medical airlift from a rural part of southern Oconee County. A car hit a tree on Lakeshore Drive and the injured driver was sent to a Greenville hospital. A Friday fire near Seneca left a homeowner with burns to his right arm. According to Seneca fire fighter Sean Watkins, a cooking grille being cleaned on the front porch of a Utica home exploded into a fire that burn him and damaged the trailer home on Hope Avenue.
