Frontier Encampment for all ages

You can travel back in time tomorrow in Oconee County, by sampling the fare at a frontier encampment. The event takes place 10 a-m to 3 p-m at the Oconee Station State Historic Site near Walhalla. There, re-enactors will show what it was like after the American Revolution when the historic Oconee Station was a frontier outpost. The property today is a 210-acre site, featuring a fishing pond and trails that access the 60-foot Station Cove Falls inside the Sumter National Forest.
