Funeral Services for Victim

Funeral services have been planned for James Evan Tyner, the Westminster man who was shot and killed Tuesday morning on Mount Pleasant Road in Westminster. The funeral for the 21 year old will be Saturday afternoon at 2 pm at Sandifer Funeral home.  Visitation will be between 1 and 2 at the funeral home. Oconee Sheriff’s deputies have acquired warrants against 34 year old Shane Adam Burdette. He is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. He was denied bond and is being held at the Oconee County Detention Center.
