Future freshmen to gather at WOHS

Imagine you’ve attended nothing other than a small elementary or middle school and, all of a sudden, you’re headed to your county’s largest high school. That’s what lies ahead for the next rising class of 9th graders at West-Oak High School. The school has announced “Future Freshmen Night” for the future class of 2018 and its parents for Wednesday evening, February 5. For a student about to start high school years, emotions run high. Among the emotions are curiosity, fear, anxiousness, nervousness, excitement, and worry. 5:30 to 6 will be devoted to freshmen information; 6 to 6:30, to an honors meeting in the auditorium. Course selection guides will be distributed to all 8th graders that Wednesday morning.
