Future teachers recognized

At Southern Wesleyan University, two young men were inducted last weekend into the university’s Call Me MISTER program.  The ceremony recognizing Jervarrio Cureton and Kennedy Lowrance took place Sunday in the historic Freedom’s Hill Church at the campus in Central.  Call Me MISTER is a program that nurtures young African-American men to pursue teaching careers that serve as mentors and role models to minority boys.
