Georgia man charged with Seneca bank crimes

The police in Seneca have arrested a 25-year old man and charged him with bank fraud crimes. Chief John Covington says it’s a case that is still under investigation and expected to see more charges. Decatur, Georgia resident Cortez Ramon Anderson is charged with financial transaction card fraud and crimes against a federally chartered and insured financial institution. The police say they placed Anderson in custody Friday when he allegedly presented South State Bank a Tennessee driver’s license and a credit card belonging to another individual and tried to obtain a cash advance in the amount of $4,800 on the individual’s account.
