Georgia man sentenced to 25 years

A 34-year old Georgia man convicted of conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine has been sent to prison for 25 years. The S-C Attorney’s General Office today announced that Antonio Emerson Tate of Lawrenceville was convicted Friday in Greenville General Sessions Court. Judge Letitia Verdin’s sentence credits time that Tate served in jail awaiting trial. According to the government, the investigation focused on Tate and other individuals who were trafficking meth, also known as “ice”, throughout Greenville and Pickens counties.
