Georgia residents arrested in Oconee

Two Georgia men were arrested Friday at an Oconee County scrap yard, and the Stephens County Sheriff’s investigators say those men brought a stolen car to that scrap yard. Roger Dale Littleton, 50, of Toccoa, and Christopher Hugh Kinney, 40, of Clarkesville were being held in the Oconee Detention Center and are charged with felony-theft by taking of motor vehicle and felony-theft by receiving. Stephens County investigators say they believe Kinney and Littleton are responsible for stealing cars in Stephens, Banks, and Habersham counties in a crime spree that lasted two weeks.
