Get plugged into local resources

If you are part of a young family making your way in Oconee County, what kinds of community resources can benefit you? An event this month in Seneca will showcase what’s out there. The local resource meeting, sponsored by the Oconee Transition Planning Cooperative Community Outreach, takes place 6 to 7:30 Thursday night, April 16 at the Gignilliat Community Center. “At this event will be a lot of different agencies that provide our community with services,” said Dan Alexander, business development specialist with the South Carolina Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. Refreshments will be served and door prizes and drawings are part of the evening.
