Getting that best financial aid package

February 12, 2013

Tri-County Technical College at Pendleton plays host this month to one of the statewide events for high school seniors and their parents to try to get the best financial aid package for the fall college semester. According to Kevin Woods, Tri-County financial aid counselor, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, is the first step to receiving federal aid and it is a requirement for most college students who plan to pay for college. College Goal SC is set for Saturday, February 23 from 10 a-m to 1 p-m in Pickens Hall Room 140, on the Pendleton campus. Both students and parents should bring identity and tax documents to help them qualify. At the Tech event the 23rd, participants get a chance to enter a drawing for an iPad mini.
