Oconee Auditor Ken Nix is asking the voters to consider the candidates’ backgrounds and experience when making the choice November 6 as to who should hold office. While there may be no debate or forum between Nix and his petition candidate opponent Betsy Redmond, the two of them have been invited to a drop-in event to allow voters to meet all Republican incumbents and those running as petition candidates. That drop-in takes place 6 to 8 Monday night at Oconee Republican Party headquarters. The GOP Monday night will offer Romney/Ryan bumper stickers for a one dollar donation and yard signs for a two-dollar donation.
