GOP hopping mad at Obama

President Obama’s executive order to spare five million illegals from deportation is being denounced by South Carolina’s U-S senators and the state’s congressional representative from the Third District.  Democrat Obama explained his action, saying he wants to focus enforcement efforts on “felons, not families” is being hailed by members of the Latino communities, but denounced by members of the opposition party.  Senators Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott, along with Congressman Jeff Duncan, are suggesting the President has gone too far and may have ruined chances for bi-partisan efforts to solve the country’s problems.  Among their comments:  Duncan:  “What the President has done is unprecedented, unconstitutional, and an affront to the American people.”  Scott:  “While the President has decided once again the separation of powers only matters when it is beneficial to him, I sincerely hope he will reconsider these actions as we continue to look for solutions.  The process must begin with securing our borders and fixing our legal immigrationn system, and I stand ready to work on those issues anytime.”  Graham:  “This is wrong.  It’s irresponsible.  It will do damage to our efforts to fix a broken immigration system.  This is a tremendous presidential overreach.”
