GOP Senate hopefuls get an OC invite

South Carolina Republican voters this year have choices to make in the June primary as to their nominees to run for U-S Senate seats. And the Oconee GOP is taking the position it wants to hear from as many as the new candidates as possible to evaluate how they stand up to the Senate incumbents: Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham. Oconee GOP officer Phil Soper says the county party is inviting all new Senate hopefuls to take part in a forum. That forum will take place at 6 o’clock Monday evening, April 14 during a general county party membership meeting at Seneca’s Gignilliat Community Center. On 96.3/WGOG NEWS today, Soper runs down the list of this year’s Republican challengers to both senators Scott and Graham.
