Graduate Aguilar gets his assignment

July 31, 2013

John Aguilar, the first Oconee deputy to be graduated from the state academy since Sheriff Mike Crenshaw went into office, is up and running with his first assignment. The Sheriff’s Office has announced that Aguilar has been assigned to road patrol duty. And Crenshaw is glad to have him, especially for his ability to speak fluent Spanish. “John brings some diversity into our agency,” the Sheriff said. Aguilar is a graduate of Walhalla High and a member of the Marine Reserves.
