Graham nixes budget deal

President Obama is expected to sign a budget deal, but it’s a deal that South Carolina’s senior U-S senator opposes. Senator Lindsey Graham announced he voted in the minority, as the budget deal passed the Senate 64-36. Graham’s reason? The deal cuts retirement benefits for current and future military retirees. He calls unacceptable asking those in uniform to take a disproportionate cut in benefits.
