Graham votes yes and Scott and Duncan vote no

Oconeeans may need a scorecard to track how their Washington representatives voted on a measure that will keep the government running through September 30, 2016.  Senator Graham voted to support of legislation to fund the federal government.  He cited an increase in military spending and several important South Carolina priorities in voting for the measure.  Senator Scott decried what he called reckless spending and no solution to the problem of Syrian refugees.  Congressman Jeff Duncan said, “Some members of the Congress are so risk averse that they will agree to anything to avoid a government shutdown.”
