Have a slice of birthday cake!

Oconee Public Library marks the anniversaries this week of two of its branches—Seneca and Walhalla. They are using the celebrations to serve up slices of birthday cakes to the public and will use the occasions to advance their message that they would like the voters to mark their ballot yes to the 1-cent sales tax referendum, which promises a new library in Seneca and an update of the Walhalla one. Seneca’s library turns to 46 years old today. Walhalla’s library reaches its 35th year tomorrow. The public is invited to the birthday parties at 5 today in Seneca and at 5 tomorrow in Walhalla.
