Hearing for Clemson rental property owner

A show cause hearing is planned Monday at 6:30 p-m, before  the start of the Clemson City Council meeting for a rental property owner. According to city documents, it’ll be a chance for John Liu to demonstrate why the city should not suspend his right to rent property at 130 College Heights Boulevard for one year. Last month Liu pleaded guilty to a household occupancy violation and was fined $500 dollars by Judge Teresa Daniels. A month earlier he had been issued a summons alleging that 130 College Heights Boulevard was being used as the home for five people—-when the RM-4 zoning there permits no more than four.
