High School Football Friday Night

In 96.3 WGOG’s high school football broadcast on Friday night, Walhalla defeated West-Oak 51-28.  The Razorbacks held a 31-7 lead at halftime, before the Warriors got going offensively in the second half.  The two teams combined for 34 third quarter points.  West-Oak lit up the field three times in that period with two Joe Hart touchdown passes, one a 53 yarder to Kevin McMichael, the other a 60 yard pass to Levi Neave, and a 70 yard scoring run by Dustin Wilkes.  The Walhalla offense was too much for the Warriors, though, as five different players found the endzone: Seth Heaton, Colby White, Chad Nichols on a fumble recovery, and two each from Devin White and Israel Williamson.  Williamson was our American Pest Control Player of the Game, and the signal caller earned it with his legs, rushing for 184 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries.
