High School Friday Night

In 96.3 WGOG’s broadcast game on Friday, Seneca defeated West-Oak 57-28 in a game that saw the two teams combine for 1,330 yards.  Four individual players surpassed the 200 yard mark.  For Seneca, quarterback Spencer Brothers was 16-for-17 with 313 yards and three touchdowns; Dorian Raines caught twelve balls for 248 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 97 yards and a score on the ground; Marquis Arnold carried 14 times for 201 yards and three touchdowns.  For West-Oak, the star, and our American Pest Control Player of the Game was Dustin Wilkes who finished Senior Night with 294 yards on 21 carries and three touchdowns, including two option plays that went for scores of 80 and 81 yards.  The 28 points scored by the Warriors are the most ever by a West-Oak team against Seneca surpassing the 22 points put up by Tom Jordan’s Warriors in a 22-6 win in 1988.  We’ll close out the regular season next Friday night at Razorback Stadium in Walhalla as West-Oak comes to visit with one team coming away with a lone conference victory.  Airtime is 7:00 PM with the Pre-game Show and 7:30 PM with kick-off.
