High School students learn about the hunger problem

FFA students at West-Oak High School are learning about the problem of hunger, and they will plant a community garden and edible landscapes at their school. The FFA chapter has been awarded $2,500 as part of the national organization’s Food For All program. One-half of the produce harvested from the garden will be donated to the Golden Corner Food Pantry and to soup kitchens. The rest  goes to the West-Oak High School Backpack Program.
