History buffs to converge on Seneca

For a conference next spring, South Carolina history buffs will converge on Seneca. And the city’s museums director says he will be ready for them. Dr. John Martin, director and curator of the Lunney Museum, is announcing plans for the 2014 South Carolina Landmark Conference to take place in Seneca April 9-11. About 150 historians and museum directors from across South Carolina are expected. “They have a background of information and interests that’s quite unbelievable,” Martin says.
