Holland adds her name to Seneca’s record books

In high school basketball on Tuesday, Seneca’s girls defeated BHP 63-50 in a game that saw Kianna Holland score 23 points and break Seneca’s all-time scoring record. Hollands’s 1,851 points are 14 better than former Bobcat and Clemson Lady Tiger Julie Talley’s career total, set back in 2002.

Elsewhere, Wren’s girls defeated Walhalla 59-55 in overtime. West-Oak’s girl fell to Palmetto 57-51

In boys action, West-Oak defeated Palmetto 70-47 behind 24 points from Blake Maness. Maness recently surpassed the 1,000 point career mark and continues to put up high numbers for Tim Sheriff’s team. Wren’s boys get a 67-58 win over Walhalla. Seneca’s boys crushed BHP 61-35. Wesley Grant led the way with 15 points.
