Home fire in the Wexford subdivison

June 16, 2014

Fire has taken a heavy toll to a home in the Wexford subdivision, between Seneca and Clemson. Multiple fire departments responded to the address on Beacon Ridge Drive and found fire consuming the house.  No injuries reported.  All members of the family made it to safety.  It took about one hour to put a stop to the fire.  The first call came shortly after 6:30, and fire fighters remained on the scene until shortly before 11 o’clock.  As late as midnight, however, fire fighters were dealing with hot spots at the fire scene and helping the family salvage some of of the home’s contents.
