Home fire near the Highlands Highway

Sirens blasted thru the early evening hours in Walhalla for a home fire a short distance from the city limit.  Rural Fire reports fire fighters were called at the 5 o’clock hour to a home on Breezy Hill Drive near SC 28/the Highlands Highway.  No one reported hurt.  They remained at the fire scene nearly six hours and were called back this morning when there was re-kindle.
