Honea: an early Sewer South believer

September 19, 2013

Emissary or intermediary? Which title befits a southern Oconeean who has been a believer in Sewer South and the Golden Corner Commerce Park from the early days? Ryan Honea this week drew the thanks of Council Chairman Joel Thrift by taking the time and effort to speak to southern Oconeeans whose properties run along the route of the sewer line from Fair Play’s GCCP to the county treatment plant at Seneca. Honea says he did not find that he had to do a lot of persauding. He says most people he has spoken with welcome the sewer project and share the county’s optimism that it’s going to lead the way to jobs needed in their part of the county.
