HS FOOTBALL: West-Oak blanks Walhalla; Daniel shuts out Seneca

WGOG wrapped up the 2013 high school football broadcast season Friday night from Warrior Field in Westminster as the West-Oak Warriors defeated their cross-county rivals from Walhalla, 35-0, on Senior Night. Warrior Lane Jones was the Blue Ridge Bank Player of the Game after totaling three sacks on defense and a touchdown on offense in the win. West-Oak also saw two scores from Adam Johns, one from Clay Johns, and a scoring pass from Joe Hart to Kevin McMichael. The Warriors end the season at 2-8, 1-6 in Western AAA play. Walhalla finishes 1-9, and 0-7.

Elsewhere, top-ranked Daniel defeated Seneca 24-0 at Singleton Field in Central.
